All our projects in Bolivia are located in La Paz, one of the most visually striking cities in South America. Set in a large rock canyon at an altitude of 3,500 m, living and working in this city will definitely be an adventure to remember. La Paz is a vibrant city with lots to offer; witches markets, great restaurants, cinemas, clubs, bars and very affordable living.
But it is a city affected by areas of great poverty where many parents become unable to care for their children and are forced to abandon them to children's homes. There is also a high population of children who live and work on the street and the numbers are growing. These working and abandoned children along with the youth communities facing dangerous situations due to the poverty in which they are living have created a demand for effective informal and creative education both in the children's homes and in the street.
