Nicaragua

Nicaragua is a country with fast growing tourist interest and some stunning scenery. The population of Nicaragua is very young with approx. 40% under 18 years of age.

Nicaragua's economy has historically been based on the export of cash crops such as bananas, coffee and tobacco and Nicaragua's rum is renowned as among the best in Latin America.

We are currently establishing links with a new organisation in the north of Nicaragua that runs theatre workshops within rural communities. Details will be on the website soon!
