Make Your Mark Change Lives!

Make Your Mark Change Lives, is a campaign to inspire young people to use enterprising ideas for social and environmental change.

Social Enterprise Day is part of enterprise week 2006, a national celebration of enterprise in all its forms, with thousands of events and activities across the UK.

Last year over 400,000 people took part in over 2,200 events – over a fifth of which had a social enterprise focus.

To celebrate this day we at Creative Corners will be running a one off competition to encourage enterprising and creative ways to fundraise money to volunteer overseas.

Why not host a themed cinema night for all your friends charging a cover that would go towards your trip....or get friends and family to pre-purchase finger puppets you might make with the children from one of our projects after you teach them! Or get them to pre-pay per email you send them to tell them about the amazing work you will be doing while there.....there are many possibilities and opportunities.

The prize is a £100 voucher towards your next volunteer trip so you too can travel with purpose and your paintbrush!

The deadline for entries is Sunday 19th November at 5.00pm and winners will be contacted by email the following week.
