WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of arts practitioners who have recently completed the last Rainbows of Desires course in London with Augusto Boal.

We want to continue in an on-going hands-on weekly workshop to practice & develop the techniques of RoD.

Ideally this is aimed primarily at people who have already attended a Rainbow course and want to experiment further, with a view to using the techniques to work on their own issues and/or start learning to lead the work with their own groups.

We also want to work with practitioners new to Rainbow of Desires, but familiar with the Theatre of the Oppressed, who perhaps have been unable to attend courses because of time or financial constraints.

WHO IS THIS FOR

People interested in using theatre as a tool to uncover the life of the mind; theatre practitioners experienced in Forum Theatre and wishing to develop an understanding of Augusto Boal’s work around theatre and therapy; dramatherapists and psychodrama practitioners; those interested in uncovering internalised oppression.

Basically anybody interested in using theatre as a tool for debate and social change with communities; social activists, teachers, community workers, youth workers.

No experience necessary.
