Event: Travel Photo Exhibition, Volunteer Open Day and Book Sale!
Left the planning of your Summer holiday or Gap year too late? Find out how you could be traveling and volunteering in amazing destinations as early as this July at our next Open Day. Be inspired by a colorful photo exhibition of our projects and destinations in South and Central America and help to raise funds to purchase musical instruments, paints and arts education resources for the projects by buying a book at our charity book sale.
There will be about 1000 books - most of them new including bestsellers, prize winners, hard backs, biographies, political, business, travel and children's books for sale and all going for just £1 - £3 and visitors can get themselves a coffee, some cake and their choice of book for a £5 donation while they relax at the theatre, browse the books and see the photos.
Come and found about the next steps to a life changing trip to South America and also found out about our new projects in need of creative volunteers. We have found some wonderful projects including working on a ´street´ newspaper with shoe-shine boys in Bolivia and a small project in a Favela in Rio that is looking for volunteers to teach anything from music to Judo to how to build a roof garden!
With projects from just 2 weeks to 6 months and beyond we can tailor make the perfect trip for you.
Create a garden. Be in your own travel doco. Write for a street newspaper. Teach arts. Juggle, sing, dance, paint, act and creatively change lives while changing your own.…
