2 week October/November Arts Tour of Bolivia February 12, 2008

Accompanied Arts and Volunteering tour of Bolivia.

PROPOSED TOUR DATE:  23rd October– 6th November

Creative Corners is planning a small accompanied arts volunteering tour for a group of up to 15 people.  We have a group of 4 already keen so it's a great opportunity for singles, couples or groups of friends of any age to join us.

 

PROPOSED ITINERARY

Day 1: - Fly from London to La Paz via Miami-via New York
Day 2: - Arrive La Paz Rest and acclimatisation, afternoon tour of city   then movies, music or early night.
Day 3: - Easy morning, lunch, and afternoon street arts workshop with the Creative Education Project.
Day 4: - Morning tour to valley de la luna and an afternoon volunteering workshop at one of the projects - depending on groups skills we could paint a mural, work in a garden, run music workshop, make puppets etc…
Day 5: -Travel by bus to the ancient Inca city of Tiawanaku
Day 6: - Visit museums and then afternoon spent in arts activities, singing and games at an orphanage for children aged 5-15.  
Day 7: -Free DAY for sightseeing, shopping or OPTIONAL TOURS   
Day 8: - Photography tour of La Paz and visit Street Newspaper Project and evening at the world’s highest jazz club.
Day 9- Go to Copacabana and stay at Lake Titicaca
Day 10- Lake Titicaca return to La Paz
Day 11-Decide on a 3 day project with one of Creative Corners Projects
Day 12-Project
Day 13-Project and final souvenir shopping.  Evening spent at a Bolivian Pena, a traditional music and dance cultural night.
Day 14-Leave La Paz
Day 15-Arrive London

£645 per person

The Quote does not include flights but these are currently available for these dates for approximately £735.
