How to Apply

So you’ve decided to go! Follow these easy steps to apply!

How to apply

1. Read and understand Creative Corner's Terms and Conditions and understand what will be required on each volunteer placement.

2. Complete the Volunteer Application form at the bottom of this page and email along with

A copy of your CV.

2 references or 2 letters of recommendation including contact details of the referees.

3. Pay the £100 deposit (or equivalent in foreign currencies) by Paypal or you can send a cheque payable to Creative Corners; The Global Arts Project CIC) to:

4. On receiving your deposit we will:

acknowledge receipt and start to process your application;
check your references,
conduct a phone interview,
assess your skills and interests and make sure you are matched to the most suitable project

If you have an idea of where you want to go but not what you want to do we will work with you and give you ideas to create a worthwhile project.

5. Apply for Criminal Records Check through Creative Corners ( for UK volunteers). If you do not have a current CRB or police check obtained within the last 2 years you will need to apply for one through Creative Corners. Creative Corners will send you the forms and advise on the process.

CRB's must be received by Creative Corners at least 6 weeks before departure.

6. Then we will...

confirm your travel dates and help you find a good deal on a flight
send you your travel information including country and project information, tips for travel, details of accommodation and medical and visa advice. However we do recommend you seek independent advice on international travel from the embassies and British foreign travel website.

7. Then you will...

Book air tickets, organise visas, immunisations
Email or Fax a copy of your ticket, first page of your passport and itinerary to our office.

8. Full payment must be received at least 8 weeks before departure.

9. Then all you need to do is embark on your life changing volunteer experience sharing your skills to creatively change lives!
